Overview
The Defence Determination, Conditions of Service Amendment Determination (No. 13) 2025 was registered on 8 August 2025. It amended Defence Determination 2016/19 (Conditions of service) and was in force until 14 July 2026, at which point it was repealed. It is administered by the Department of Defence under the Defence Act 1903.
What the determination changed
The determination made amendments across six areas of the conditions of service for Australian Defence Force members:
- Christmas stand-down arrangements
- Travel and meal allowances
- Payment of leave credits to members diagnosed with a terminal illness
