Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Principal Officer of the ACT) Declaration 2026

What this declaration does

The federal government has made the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Principal Officer of the ACT) Declaration 2026 under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988. The declaration names the Principal Officer of the ACT for the purposes of that Act.

What it replaces

The previous declaration of the same name, made in 2016, is repealed by Schedule 1 of this new instrument.

The declaration commenced on 1 September 2026.
